Our Story

Motcombs is known for its warm and familiar “home away from home” aesthetic.

First opening its doors in 1982 by the then manager of Scott’s restaurant of Mount Street, Motcombs established its prestigious reputation amongst Belgravia diners.

As we open our doors in St John’s Wood, we aim to deliver the same level of service and quality, whilst taking pride in paying attention to the authentic Motcomb’s heritage and charm in a new location.

As you venture through the authentic exterior, you will unearth a restaurant with historic styling, where the walls and eclectic works of art tell a story of many a fond occasion to come. A place where young and old all come together and celebrate each other’s company.
